During my first few years of life I lived in
a home that held 4 generations of Black womanhood (My great-grandmother, grandmother,
mother, and I). I saw that women could do and accomplish any and every goal that
was set before them. Despite race, all was tangible with hard work, diligence
and faith. I would like to pass on to my daughter the values that I was taught
by women and life about femininity - not only softness but strength, self-respect,
dignity, and self-love on all levels. The world is a mirror that reflects images
of one's inner self by the people we meet...I want Victoria to always be met by
admiration. Jasmine & Vicki |
